Your Blogster with a Bluefin Tuna caught on the Sea Pigeon and Stripers late 60s. Back then there were still big schools of Tuna that swarmed in shore early each fall. This one was hooked a few miles off Sandy Hook.

Oh Deer
Last year as I was walking at low tide on the bay side of Sandy Hook, I thought I saw a large dog come running directly toward me on this thin stretch of beach, but to my surprise...

Mouth of the River
Remediation project going on east of the Rt 35 Bridge in Sayreville, Lets hope they do it right.
Parcel A has been preserved for open space. Specifically, approximately 36.6 acres is preserved for open space, subject to the following: (1) a Public Access Easement along the waterfront area; (2 ) NRD Conservation Easement, (3) Coastal Wetland Buffer Easement, and (4) Wetland Mitigation Easement.
